Deborah Lippmann just released a quartet of new shades (well technically two for spring/resort and two for summer, but they released concurrently on her website, and I thought we could look at them all together).
Mermaid’s Dream has gotten the lion’s share of attention from print and digital press, but now that I’ve seen them all, I think the other three have gotten short shrift. I don’t know which is my favorite.
Mermaid’s Dream is a somewhat gritty shimmer/foil celadon with medium-sized blue glitter and tiny gold sparkles. On the Beach is a Saint Tropez–blue creme. Ray of Light is a sheer, dark, blue-purple jelly with orange/dull copper rainbow flakies (YUM). Sweet Dreams is a sheer jelly candy pink with red-pink-orange flakies. I love recognizing the song a Lippmann polish is named after.
I believe Ray of Light and Sweet Dreams are limited edition.

Here’s On the Beach on my toes:

Interesting pricing note: Lippmann cremes are $16; glitters (or polishes that are “special” in some other way) are $18. I have such a strong preference for cremes that I’d never noticed the price difference.
These polishes are available with free shipping from Nordstrom.com
(no code necessary) and NeimanMarcus.com
(use code MAYFS).

Ohh love the two dreamy shades, though On the Beach looks lovely on - or maybe it’s just the contrast with your cute shoes?!
Nic x
Love your shoes! Who makes them?
I got Sweet Dreams! I love it. I ordered it from HSN though bc it was only available there for a while. I think it might have only been 16? I had noticed the price difference though… mostly because I’m drawn to her glitters! I didn’t get ray of light even though it is beautiful… I heard it was clumpy. I also avoided Mermaid’s Dream… looks too clumpy and must be a pain to remove! I’m very happy with Sweet Dreams though!
Pretty shades!
Willi, my shoes are from Talbots, but unfortunately I bought them last summer. The style is Kiara; the color is Sunshine.
Nice polishes, but those shoes are hot!
