Today we’re halfway through NYX’s collection of $6 powder blushes. What’s impressive about the line is the range of available shades (well beyond pink). Taupe is most widely loved as a contour shade (used to create a shadow in the hollow of your cheek, making your cheekbones look more pronounced). Raisin, a softly browned plum, reminds me a cross between Lancome’s limited edition spring blushes, High Maintenance and Extravagance.
Sand is sparkly, somewhere between MAC’s Soft & Gentle and Honey Light Highlight Powder. Terra Cotta (yes, two words) is so sparkly it’s almost frosty in a heavy swatch.
NYX Blush: Raisin, Sand, Taupe, Terra Cotta, Terracotta

>Kayvid: Is it just me or does Terra Cotta look a LOT like LORAC Tantalizer bronzer? I'd like more opinions on this. Thanks!
>Thanks Karla, I've been interested in all of the NYX Blushes but wasn't sure which to get. They look so pretty!
>i have sand and i don't like it=/ it's too yellow (and i'm yellow-toned!) and makes me looks like a disco ball. taupe is good for contouring tho, but compared with MAC emote, it's cooler/more brown i believe! thx for swatches i luv nyx overall^_^
>Oooh, Raisin is sooo me… must get that one!
