I am SO excited about this week at TNBTTGSY (and it’s been really hard not to spill the beans prematurely). In a nutshell, this week we’re focusing on a great new brand, plus I have an exclusive discount code for you, PLUS there’s a giveaway every day this week. (Dang!)
I have a very American (or Walt Disney?) fondness for hearing about peoples’ dreams coming true. [On a sidenote: Way to go, Panacea81]
So you’ve probably heard of the website Stars Makeup Haven (StarsMakeupHaven.com) as a reliable place to buy MAC pigment samples and pressing supplies. Well SMH recently realized their dreams by introducing their own makeup line, starting with 50 shades of eyeshadow — which are honestly amazing. These shadows are unbelievably soft and pigmented (pigment lovers are going to have a field day) — and they’re $4.95 each (sold as pans).
But wait, there’s more: In honor of “SMH Week” at TNBTTGSY, Stars Makeup Haven is offering a discount code for all you beautiful readers. Use code karlasugar to take 15% off your order — with no minimum purchase. This offer expires 8/16.
Divine is shimmery white (there’s a matte white, which I’ll show you later in the week). Bee’s Knees is a shimmery, pale white-gold. Champagne is a shimmery pale yellow gold. Creme d’Nude is a matte pink (which Crayola might have called “flesh,” though it’s a little pinker than that). Pink Opal is a satiny white-pink duochrome. Guilty as Sin is a shimmery pale pink. Sunrise is a shimmery coral. Hot Ginge is a frosty red fox color. Bohemia is a frosty bronze-brown. Cashmere is a warm, sheeny, red brown.
About the contest. I now have more eyeshadow than I know what to do with, so every day this week I’m going to give away a pair of shades from that day’s swatches — this means (unfortunately), that your prize shadows have been swatched. Sorry about that. Today’s prize is Guilty as Sin and Cashmere.

>Wow, those shades look so lovely…are these MAC pan-sized shadows?
>Those are beautiful! I am currently trying to downsize - I also have more eye shadows than I would need for the rest of my life, but never stop wanting more! Aahhh!
>Yes, Miss Fred, I should have mentioned, these pans are the same size as MAC's (which is… 26mm if I remember correctly?).
>From the looks of your arm it's hard to believe that these are only $4.95 a piece! The two colors you mentioned for your giveaway Cashmere and Guilty As Sin would look incredible together! Thanks for this, as I might have looked over their eye shadows!
>Wow. Guilty as sin looks so pretty on you. Thanks for sharing
>Guilty as Sin looks very pretty, thanks for this offer, and the swatches, of course. They look lovely, and affordable.

More…more…more, Karla!
>I JUST found StarsMakeupHeaven today on my own through a google search for another product. What a small world the internet is! These eyeshadows look pretty heavily pigmented for under $5. That's pretty amazing!
>Personally, as someone who just got into makeup, i found StarsMakeupHeaven to be a great place to get MAC pigment samples (me being a poor, starving student and all). The fact that they launched their own line of eyeshadows is just so incredible! <333
Thanks for letting us all know about these great new shadows.
Keep swatching Karla, i live for your swatches! Seriously! They help ALOT.
>I am definitely checking these out!

So happy to find an inexpensive place for shadows - I'm been worrying about running out of my brow highlighter from my KvD palettes (not that it's gonna happen anytime soon, but Tequila has a much larger dip than any other shadow lol) but Bee's Knees and Champagne look like really nice substitutes.
