On my most recent trip to Sephora, I was thrilled to find a complete display of Illamasqua blush testers. My local store carries 12 shades, but there are an additional 5 shades available online
— which means Americans have access to essentially all of Illamasqua’s powder blushes.
Illamasqua is known for pigment, and I think that is blazingly apparent in their blushes. I tried to do light and heavy swatches… in some cases it was difficult to scale back the intensity to make a light swatch. For the light swatches, I picked up pigment with a triangle sponge, tapped the sponge on my arm, then blended with the clean back of the sponge.
Heavy:

All 12 of the powder blushes I swatched are matte. Panic is warm, cherry red. Expose is a canteloupe, dusty yellow-orange. Excite is brighter and peachier (perhaps a little more on the pink side?). It’s quite electric. Lover is a bright peach — obviously paler than the others.
These blushes are $24 each at Sephora.

I love their blushes - I have all of the cooler based ones, including (but not limited to)”Panic”, “Chase”,”Hussy” and “Tweak” are awesome! Thanks for showing these swatches of future blushes that will be coming home with me!
I can’t wait to see part II!
