Slightly different swatches today, readers! Some of you already know that clothing brand American Apparel recently introduced a house-brand line of nail polishes. They come in 18 creme colors (no shimmer, sparkle, or frost) for $6 each — or you can buy them in-store, 3-for-$15.
I’m not a huge fan of American Apparel, but the polishes seemed intriguing (and $5 a bottle isn’t bad). I was shopping last night and happened to have my notepad with me, so I made tape swatches to photograph this morning. If you do order online, don’t forget to check RetailMeNot.com for percentage discounts or free shipping codes.
My other question was how similar Mouse was to “it” polish Chanel Particuliere. Particuliere is much darker — like chocolate mousse. Mouse is more dust grey.
