I don’t personally change my makeup much from one season to another, but I DO find myself craving different colors on my nails. And even though I’m loving the summer sunshine, Zoya has me oh-so-ready for fall with their totally thrilling new collections: Wonderful and Wicked.
Zoya’s releases generally come in two sets of six — both appropriate for the season, but opposites of one another. Wonderful is a set of cremes, and Wicked is a set of fabulous foils: gritty, grainy, metallic-looking polishes containing micro-glitter, so they still feel smooth.

Zoya’s cremes are such a treat. Super glossy, gorgeous, complex colors for fall, and in a great formula. Kelly is a captivating grey blue-purple. Polish bloggers sometimes yawn at cremes in the red family, but I love them, and Stacy really might be the perfect dark cherry. Burke is a beautiful rose. Kristi is flamenco red. Cola is the color of barbecue sauce. It’s a great fall red-brown.
Shawn is the only shade in the group that I didn’t think would work for me. It’s a yellow-green, and I’ve learned from experience I prefer greens on the bluer side of the spectrum. Shawn reminded me of SpaRitual’s Yes I Can.

Microglitter is the greatest invention since… glitter. With Wicked, Zoya definitely built on the momentum of their summer Sparkle collection (which I also loved).
Julieanne is a black violet with violet microglitter. It reminded me of Intense Black Greasepaint Stick from MAC’s Style Black, reinterpreted as a nail polish. Frickin’ awesome.
Karina and Carrie Ann aren’t quite as sparkly as the others; their base is a little more opaque. Karina is a slightly deeper, more ruby; Carrie Ann is brighter and a little less blue. Kym is an orangey-brown red, the epitome of fall. Cheryl is deep red-brown… like sparkling cherry wood. Edyta will knock your socks off. It’s a stunning, serpentine blackened green with gold microglitter.
Zoya’s polishes are $7 each, or $36 if you buy a complete set. Both Wicked and Wonderful are available on Zoya’s website.
These polishes were provided to me for swatching purposes.

These look great! I just ordered some from each collection the other day. Love the swatches, Karla. And I had to laugh at the “Wicked” ones — I can’t help but wonder if the Zoya folks are Dancing with the Stars fans?
Edyta looks really good! it’s getting me into Fall mood already >_<
Those look gorgeous!
heyyyy…..someone’s been watching Dancing With The Stars!! Only I couldn’t figure out where “Cola” stood in the DWTS lineup!
They all look gorgeous especially Kelly and Shawn!
