Le Metier de Beaute Lip Creme Lipgloss

Le Metier de Beaute has two formulas of lipgloss: Sheer Brilliance ($32) and Lip Creme ($36).

I don’t yet own (so I haven’t yet tried on) a Lip Creme, but in addition to being a more opaque formula, they seem somewhat thicker. Some of them are scented, but the ones that are don’t all have the same scent. I’m going to have to go back and sniff these one-by-one. They have a doe’s foot applicator.
Le Metier de Beaute, LMdB, swatches, Lip Creme, lipgloss, Creme de la Creme, Cafe Creme, Creme Caramel, Toffee Creme, Chocolate Creme, Cocoa Creme, Vanilla Rose, Sweet Creme, Emily's Kisses, Sweet Abigail, Peche Creme, Fraise Creme, Framboise Creme, Hot Mamma, KarlaSugar, Karla Sugar
The three shades with asterisks are exclusive to Neiman Marcus Northpark (in Dallas) — but I thought I might as well swatch them, too.

Creme de la Creme is is pink-beige. Cafe Creme is mauve with tiny sparkles. Creme Caramel is shimmery/frosty metallic-rose-mauve. Toffee Creme is very sparkly red-copper-brown. Chocolate Creme is shimmery/frosty warm red-brown. Cocoa Creme is warm hot-cocoa brown with big dense sparkles. Vanilla Rose is warm white-pink. Sweet Creme (which seems to be the popular favorite) is slightly cooler, sheer lilacked pink. Emily’s Kisses (a Northpark shade) is opaque bubblegum/Susan B. Komen pink. Sweet Abigail (a Northpark shade) is shimmery/frosty flamingo pink. Peche Creme is a gently sparkly peach (the sparkles are subtle and tiny). Papaye Creme is a deeper, more orange peach with tiny, dense gold sparkles. Fraise Creme is shimmery/frosty warm rose-red with dense gold sparkles. Framboise Creme is shimmery/frosty violet-rose with dense gold sparkles. Hot Mamma (a Northpark shade) is red-brown chocolate with tiny, subtle gold sparkles.

    As always, amazing swatches, Karla.
I can’t thank you enough for making my shopping easier (shopping in person with two toddlers is not my idea of fun^^) although my wallet is suffering. :)
Oh, I can’t wait to see the swatch of Atlantis Sunset, another Northpark exclusive.

I just have to tell you how much I love your site. Having the swatches all together to look at really helps me decide what to buy. I loved the color of the Lipgloss Le Metier made for you, I wish they would make it permanent so I could get it. It’s a pity I am in NY and can’t get to the counter.

when you do swatches like this, is it a pain to get off? when I started viewing your blog, I have always wondered how long does it take to put on the swatches and get them off?

  • So beautiful!! I already own Cafe Creme and Sweet Creme. Can’t wait to add more to my collection and using your swatches as a guide!

Best glosses I have ever tried. Im from the UK and they arent available here any more which makes me so sad! My favourite is cafe creme and I desperately need to find a dupe. Do you think the new elf glossy gloss lip glosses are similar because they look similar.
