Yesterday we talked about Le Metier de Beaute’s Lip Creme lipgloss; today I have for you their other formula, Sheer Brilliance.
Sheer Brilliance glosses are $32 (except for Clearly Brilliant clear gloss, which is $36. It has peppermint, though, so I think it might be a plumper).
Captiva is gold honey caramel with blue and gold sparkles. Bondi Beach is rosy brown with tiny, subtle sparkles. Maui is warm brown with white-gold sparkles. La Belle is plum with gold sparkles. Atlantis Sunset is a Neiman Marcus Northpark exclusive, which is why it has an asterisk. It’s sheer peach with tiny, subtle gold sparkles. Summerland is shimmery mauve rose with silver sparkles. Bali is warm red rose (a little orange, and a little “dirty”) with tiny red and pink sparkles. Cap d’Antibes is white pink with tiny silver sparkles. Ibiza is warm pink with tiny silver sparkles. Compared to Ibiza, Cannes is a more sheer, slightly cooler pink with (slight larger but less dense) gold sparkles. Dubai is lilac pink with dense, multicolored sparkles. Uma Paro is sheer plum-grape with gold sparkles.

Summerland swatches beautifully (on your arm and on others’ lips) but on my own lips, it comes off as a layer of metallic sheen. My first thoughts were, ‘what is wrong with my lips?!’

I know what you mean, lipgloss addict. This “specific counter” exclusives are becoming a bit annoying - I am bleeding shipping left and right. Definitely not appreciated. I think I need to start wean myself off LMDB. ^^;;
