Tremendous thanks to polish connoisseur and blogger extraordinaire AlexandraRC, for sharing her amazing swatches of Butter London’s Wallis. The shade was released “early” as a Nordstrom anniversary exclusive, but is part of the brand’s Fall/Winter 2011 collection.
Butter London is going “luxe-grunge” this season, with “dirty” jewel tones. I quite like Butter London’s description of the shade: “tarnished, metallic olive gold.”

Like all Butter London polishes, Wallis is $14.

GORGEOUS!!
that color is brilliant!
How does this compare to Chanel Peridot?
I love these tarnished gold shades! I have to save up for this.
Jakie, chanel is duo-crome so the color shifts (to green) depending on the angle of light, it is also a lighter shade of gold, Wallis is a bit “blackened”. The finishes are different too, this is a bit more “glass flecked”, whereas Peridot is “foily”.
Thank you!
