Ken Downing and Le Metier de Beaute have one more pun-filled beauty treat up their sleeves for 2011: StocKen Stuffer nail polish sets.
Each boxed set is $32, and contains four polishes and a leaf ornament. The ornament is an actual electroplated leaf, so no two are exactly alike. (Or is that snowflakes?)
The Merry Metallics set (left) comes with a silver leaf; the All that Glitters set (right) comes with a gold leaf. Personally, I want to snip the ribbon off and wear one of these as a pendant.
Merry Metallics polishes include Lamé Entertain You, a slightly rosy taupe-brown frost (reminiscent of True Romance from Nordstrom’s anniversary set) with sparse silver micro-sparkles. Red-E and Waiting is a deep, warm red with deep-set orange, pink, and gold shimmers. Tarnished Silver is a cool grey-silver foil (microglitter that feels smooth). Plum Puddin’ is metallic lavender with tiny holographic sparkles.

The All That Glitters set includes Hot to Trot, a bright, saturated, warm red with deep-set pink sparkles. The eponymous All That Glitters polish is a cool-gold frost with sparse silver sparkles. Midnight Heron is deep blue shimmer. Spruce it up is deep green shimmer.
Do you love them both? A little bird told me that these two sets will be included in the 2011 BeautyBloggers.org charity auction.

These metallics are bold and pretty! I love the little set and ornament.
These look beautiful. I know exactly what you are saying Karla, when you talk about wanting to wear the leaves as jewelry. One of my absolute favorite pieces of jewelry is a necklace I got that is a leave cast in copper. It is a maple leaf and the copper color makes it ideal for fall. I have a set of earing too that coordinate, but are a different type of leaf (I think they are birch leaves). I got them at a friends jewelry store, she was sourcing them from a local artist who made them in her studio, just gorgous.
