Bobbi Brown’s High Shimmer lipglosses are just arriving on counters, and with them, a sea-change in the way Bobbi does gloss. Across the board, she’s converting all her glosses to doe’s foot wands in 7 ml tubes (the old ones were 4 ml), for $23 (a price increase of a dollar).
There are 15 shades of High Shimmer Lipgloss. Star is whitish-clear with silver and pink sparkles. Bellini is a warm blush-pink with less dense pink and gold sparkles. Naked Plum is mauve pink with pink and gold sparkles. Pastel is blue-pink with pink and gold sparkles. Pink Sequin is a very, very sheer pink gloss with very dense pink sparkles. Pink Tulle is sheer muted beige-pink with silver sparkles. Hot is hot pink (violet-pink) with dense pink sparkles. Electric Violet is more sheer, slightly more violet, and has less dense, smaller pink and blue sparkles. Canary is clear with dense yellow gold sparkles. Beach is pink-brown (a warm neutral, like a pinked-sand) with pink and gold sparkles. Plum Gold is berry-crimson with gold sparkles. Midnight Violet is deep dark purpled brown with violet multicolored sparkles. Black Ruby is russet-wine (a deeper violet-red) with pink and gold sparkles.
The two missing shades are 4 Citrus and 15 Bare Sparkle. Luckily, Citrus, Bare Sparkle, and Beach were all promoted “early,” released with the Tortoiseshell collection (click here for swatches).

The High Shimmer glosses are already available online.

i need canary, black ruby, and beach
Oooh, Bellini looks so pretty!
“Beach” looks just like Chanel’s Glossimer in “Blizzard” to me. I haven’t seen this in the flesh yet though, maybe I’ll pop along to my local Bobbi Brown counter at the weekend!
