Just when Dior had wrestled their lipstick offering down to a manageable set of formulas (Rouge Dior, Dior Addict, Serum de Rouge. Got it!), they had to go and add one more: Dior Addict Extreme.
I’m glad they did. From the preliminary (at-counter) testing I’ve done so far, Addict Extreme seems fantastic… though the word ”extreme” is a bit misleading. Actually, ignore Dior’s official description of this product altogether.
I tried on 339 Silhouette, and found it to be nearly the color of my lips, with a very soft, natural (low-shine) finish — a beautiful balm. I tried on a mid-level color (either Riviera or Lucky), and found it also to be more muted than I expected — but very pretty. These lipsticks also feel so good, I’m thinking “Addict who? I’m an Extreme girl now.”
If you were a little disappointed by YSL’s Volupte Sheer Candy lipsticks (because most of them were SO sheer, because they didn’t last that long), you are going to LOVE the look and feel of Dior Addict Extreme. If you’re a fan of the Revlon Lip Butters, I’d also recommend giving these a whirl.

316 Incognito is a slightly mauvey grey pink. 339 Silhouette is peach. 356 Cherie Bow is a petal-pink/soft blush-pink. 667 Avenue is a soft rose pink. 476 Plaza is a happy cool pink (like jelly sandals!). 639 Riviera is coral pink. 536 Lucky is bright warm pink. 756 Fireworks is a warm red. 789 Bellissima is a red-violet rose. 866 Paparazzi is a soft wine rose.
I reswatched Bellissima and Paparazzi for visual reference (I just couldn’t fit all 12 of the available-everywhere shades on one arm). 829 Sunset Blvd is a bricky, warm, rose-red. 987 Black Tie is plum-violet.
The next four shades are Sephora exclusives. 336 Saint Tropez is a sheer peach pink. 479 Holiday is a sheer, cool, bubblegum pink. 486 Cruise is a slightly deeper, warmer pink. 366 Pink Icon is a light, sheer, warm pink.
There’s also one exclusive Saks shade: 857 Princess, which I’ve heard is cherry red. It’s limited at Saks, but will be permanently available on Dior.com. I’ll get that one swatched as soon as possible.
Dior also created four nail polishes to correspond to the four star lipstick shades — I love them all. 257 Incognito is a dusty grey pink-purple. 537 Riviera is a bright (coral) orange. 579 Plaza is a bright cool pink. 659 Lucky is “hot red,” a bright, warm, saturated coral-pink-red. All four are permanent to the line.

I just purchased Saint Tropez and Plaza. Funny because I was searching your site yesterday hoping for swatches, but drove to the store so I could try on since you didn’t have them yet.
I would say these are definitely spot on! I hope I don’t regret getting Plaza over Pink Icon as I’m a bit of a wuss wearing bright colors. I’m trying to branch out.
Avenue and Fireworks are so pretty! I can see them working on a face with very little eye makeup.
At least in the international Dior website they still have Diorific as well.
Addict Extreme is such a lovely formula. Totally my favorite of the new launches of this year.
Nikki, the Dior Addict Extremes definitely feel nicer: plusher, luxer, and that hydrating feeling lasts longer. But for maximum color impact, choose Fireworks or darker.
Beautiful swatches!!! I have them in Riviera, Lucky and Princess… I love all the colours but initially I wanted to get Fireworks. Although Princess is exclusive in US, it is widely available in Malaysia. Dior does not have Fireworks, so disappointing!!!

And I do that because I have a busy program, I do not have too much time to spent in the stores. So, for me, you are my beauty adviser, especially when it comes in describing colours! And believe me, I am very demanding when it comes to shades! I bought Incognito, and that is exactly the shade you I was looking for and how you described it!
