Guest Swatcher: Butter London Knackered

Profound thanks to AlexandraRC of Sparkly Vernis for sharing her gorgeous swatches of Butter London’s Knackered (new for spring/summer 2012). This shade wasn’t on my radar before I saw her photos, but it is now (especially for the layering possibilities).

Knackered is a somewhat sheer dishwater blue-purple-grey shimmer with holographic sparkles (and a significant green flash at an angle). I don’t know how this polish got a name that means “exhausted” — I feel like it could keep going all night.

Because Knackered is sort of sheer, AlexandraRC gave it a shot in the arm by painting it (two coats) over two coats of a purple polish (Wet N Wild On a Trip, one of their Megalast formula).
